Every
year in NSW over 115,000 cases of child abuse are
reported. Tragically, unreported cases could be up to three times
that number. What's more, over 2 million Australian
families currently live in poverty, without even the basic levels of
food, clothing and shelter.
As a community, we can sit on
our hands and accept that 'that's the way things are', or we can
make a stand.
Right now, ANGLICARE needs your help to do something about it
Last
year, everyday Australians like you helped to provide
21,458 families with assistance through ANGLICARE'S
Emergency Relief Centres and placed 245 children
and young people in strong, safe, caring homes with foster families.
ANGLICARE'S Street Outreach Program assisted almost
1,000 homeless young people with food,
accommodation and other practical needs.
Sometimes it
appears easy to ignore problems like child abuse and poverty. With
your help we can tackle these issues head on.
Please help.
Many young people's safety and future depend on it.

you,
